简介：纽甜（Neotame）是一种人工糖精，分子式为C20H30N2O5。纽甜是世界上最甜的合成甜味剂，甜度是一般蔗糖的8000倍，也是口味最接近蔗糖的甜味剂。纽甜在干粉状态下具有极佳的稳定性，在干燥且适当的储存条件下，它可存放至少５年而不变质。因为纽甜没有吸湿性，能量又很低，所以十分适合作为食品甜味剂。2002年，纽甜通过了美国食品药品监督管理局认可，准许添加在食品中。2003年10月，中国卫生部批准纽甜作为甜味剂通用于各种食品和饮料中。

用途：纽甜的甜味纯正，清新自然，与阿斯巴甜相似，但安定性较高；纽甜的甜度高，是砂糖8000倍左右，等甜度成本较Aspartame低；纽甜所含的营养物质很容易被人体吸收；纽甜低能量或无能量、可供糖尿病人食用、不致龋齿、可促进双歧杆菌增殖等；不会引起蛀牙、血糖波动，纽甜是保健型食品的首选甜味剂。
