简介：Eplerenone(INN)isasteroidalantimineralocorticoidofthespirolactonegroupthatisusedasanadjunctinthemanagementofchronicheartfailure.Itissimilartothediureticspironolactone,thoughitismuchmoreselectiveforthemineralocorticoidreceptorincomparison(i.e.,doesnotpossessanyantiandrogen,progestogen,glucocorticoid,orestrogeniceffects),andisspecificallymarketedforreducingcardiovascularriskinpatientsfollowingmyocardialinfarction.BymodifyingthealternativedrugSpironolactone,thenewdrugwasdevelopedinparttoavoidundesiredandrogenicsideeffectsinmalepatients.Eplerenoneisapotassium-sparingdiuretic,meaningthatithelpsthebodygetridofwaterbutstillkeeppotassium.

用途：具有对醛固酮受体选择性强、降压效果好，作用持久等特点，并可逆转或减轻醛固酮对心血管的许多不利影响。
