用途：1、用作药物、树脂和纤维改性剂的中间体,也用作杀菌消毒剂,用于血浆和疫苗的杀菌。衍生物β-巯基丙酸是PVC稳定剂和医药的原料。还用作溶剂、有机合成中间体、分析用标准物质。
