简介：Dimethylfumarate(DMF)isthemethylesteroffumaricacid.DMFwasinitiallyrecognizedasaveryeffectivehypoxiccellradiosensitizer.Later,DMFcombinedwiththreeotherfumaricacidesters(FAE)waslicensedinGermanyasoraltherapyforpsoriasis(tradenameFumaderm).Otherdiseases,suchasnecrobiosislipoidica,granulomaannulare,andsarcoidosiswerealsofoundtorespondtotreatmentwithDMFincasereportsorsmallpatientseries.PhaseIIIclinicaltrialsfoundthatDMF(BG-12)successfullyreducedrelapserateandincreasedtimetoprogressionofdisabilityinmultiplesclerosis(tradenameTecfidera).DMFisthoughttohaveimmunomodulatorypropertieswithoutsignificantimmunosuppression.
用途：主要用作食品及饲料添加剂,在饲料中添加0.2%就有明显效果,一般剂量为500～800mg/kg。还用作溶剂、防霉保鲜剂。
